What is Vivi Priamus? Vivi Priamus is a boutique, small-batch wine project from Montevideo, Uruguay, created by winemaker Vitaly Pirshin and focused on producing some of the finest signature, winemaker-driven Uruguayan wines. Why choose Vivi Priamus wines? Vivi Priamus wines are limited-production Uruguayan wines with full personal control at every stage – from grape selection to bottling. Where do your grapes come from? We use high-quality grapes from selected vineyards in Uruguay that follow strict viticulture standards. How are the grapes picked and selected? All grapes for Vivi Priamus wines are hand-harvested and hand-sorted. We remove weak berries and leaves and keep only clean, healthy fruit. How do you make the wine? Fermentation takes place in small tanks, which allows precise control of temperature and style for each Vivi Priamus wine. Do you filter your wines? Vivi Priamus wines are not filtered. A small amount of sediment in the bottle is normal and shows a more natural structure and flavour. You can pour slowly or use a decanter if you prefer. What is the Vivi Priamus wine style? Vivi Priamus wines are elegant, fruit-forward Uruguayan wines with clear berry and stone-fruit aromas, fresh acidity and a smooth, drinkable profile. Are Vivi Priamus wines limited? Yes. Vivi Priamus usually produces around 1,000 bottles per wine and about 5,000–6,000 bottles per year in total. Do Vivi Priamus wines have awards. Yes. In 2025, Vivi Priamus wines received high ratings and mentions in Descorchados and in Tim Atkin MW’s report on Uruguayan wines.
